is it possible to actually come across as normal on a dating app?
im 23, recently got back into the dating scene and i rly feel like apps are the only way to go
i just never know how to approach girls in public if we’re fully strangers..and i feel like most ppl my age use the apps and have good luck with them. i’ve been talking to girls i work with tho and they tell me that hinge is just littered with trash dudes who have awful profiles
is there a way to come across well on hinge without looking like a try hard? or should i just try to date the old fashioned way

lolllll i’m honestly wondering this myself and i’m a girl. i just got out of a long relationship and i’m definitely excited to try to apps, but everytime i take my friends phone and look at her feed i’m like holy shit this is hell
it’s such a hard balance between trying too hard and coming across boring, cause sometimes when i see someone puts a little TOO many jokes in there i’m like okay you’re doing tooooo much
i think you should get your girl friends from work to help you build a prof. they’ll have a good idea of what pics to use and how to answer the prompts without coming across weird!!!
