My parents (especially my dad) are extremely conservative and I can’t imagine how they’ll respond. My biggest fear is losing their support, emotionally, but above all, financially. I don’t live at home any longer and my job doesn’t pay enough for me to cover my rent. I really love my life, I love my girlfriend, and I love being physicaly independent from my parents. But what if they threaten me? What if they will no longer support me if they find out the truth? I am so done living a lie, but I can’t even fathom the consequences I will have to face if I told them.

Any advice would be so helpful. I’m at a loss, and feel defeated. 🙁
